The Trends and Obstacles of Using the Computer in Teaching History by the Instructors of the Holy Province of Karbala

Abstract

The research aims to know the current trends of history teachers to use computers in teaching. It also aims to explore the most important obstacles that prevent the use of history teachers of computer in teaching.To achieve these targets promising researchers administered methods were verified sincerity by offering a range of experts in the field of methods of teaching social science, measurement and evaluation, and computer science, as well as has been verified Thbathma by re-applied to a sample of the same research community has reached reliability coefficient to identify trends (0.80) and reliability coefficient identified the constraints (0.82), and distributed Alastbantan on a sample of teachers of history in middle and high schools of the province of Karbala.Using Pearson's correlation coefficient and Spearman Brown formula and the weighted average and weight percentile as a means of statistical researchers to achieve the following results:The presence of positive attitudes towards the use of computers in school history, with the obstacles that prevent such use from the point of view, most notably the inclusion of schools definitely programmed power cuts and lack of training of teachers using computers in teaching and the shortage of computers available in schools and the lack of availability of technical help in practical training for computer.In light of the findings of the research the researchers recommended the following:1 - equipping schools generators.2 - Working to provide sufficient numbers of computers for teaching 3 - Tzoa schools programs necessary for the use of computers in teaching. 4 - Training teachers to use computers in teaching. And an update of the current study suggested that researchers:1 - a study of the reality of the use of computers in secondary schools.2 - Conducting a similar study, keeping into account the variable sex and years of experience.
