Abstract

This research deals with the American situation concerning the political crisis that occurred in Pakistan in the year of 1971 between her Western and Eastern Parts which started as an internal political crisis , then developed to be A Regional and International problem between India and Pakistan. The research chases the American situation started with the adaptation of "not to be involved" , since the crisis is an internal one and there is no place nor interest as far as the USA is concerned .But, this situation had been changed alongside with the downfall of the conditions at Eastern Part of Pakistan which makes her use the Military Force to put an end to this crisis . This causes many regional and international troubles ; for, millions of people from the Eastern Part of Pakistan had taken refuge in India. The USA had tried to press on both ,India & Pakistan , to search for political resolutions and not to use the Military Force .Besides , The USA makes them pay attention to the American concerns by sending the economical assistance to both . With the failure of the American Policy , as well as , the beginning of the India – Pakistan War , The American Situation had developed and revealed with the intention to use the Military force by sending for the Seventh – Fleet to the place of conflict . This step was an important factor for shortening the War at the Eastern Part of Pakistan and not to enlarge it to be a War at the Western Borders of Pakistan ;for, this may threaten her existence and coalition with the USA .
