Aesthetic and educaAesthetic and educational values of the Epic of Gilgamesh (Comparative study)

Abstract

The myths and legends and stories of heroism of great importance in the history of human thought the old, and is (Epic of Gilgamesh), one of these epics which have a record date to be among the Hoamaj world literature, in terms of the importance of humanity. From this standpoint, there is a problem of current research in an attempt to detect the content of these texts (The Epic of Gilgamesh), and its method for the detection of the moral and intellectual values and aesthetic of the students and analyzed from the standpoint of education .. The research aims to detect:1. Educational values in the text's literary panels Epic of Gilgamesh and the (12) panels.2. Aesthetic values (Arts) contained in the cylinder seals dating back to that era.Included the research community on two axes: the first is corrugated mud written in the form of texts, and the second the seals cylinder which dealt with the same subject, so resorted to the researcher to design tools: The first form content analysis of literary texts of the epic classification (White Hiti) developed a framework scientifically for the design of procedures current research, in the analysis of plates (Epic of Gilgamesh).With respect to the first search were analyzed panels epic (twelve) panels; The analysis revealed ideas value's (1443) idea of distributed (50) value resulting from descending order of importance, has been counting repeat units of any value indicative of the importance accorded to them. As well as emphasis on the value of human relations in Iraqi society and of the old friendship which brought (Gilgamesh and Enkidu) and later became hits for example, in all parts of the Near East. The researcher recommended to include material history of ancient art and aesthetic implications of educational reached by the researcher in the search for the purpose of the current utilized by students as a reference and a cultural art could be employed in their art and in particular in Article (graduation project).
