Study of some Mechanical properties for polymer Matrix Composite Material Reinforcement with ceramic fillers

Abstract

The present study suggests the introduction of ceramic fillers cabable to react with polystyrene polymer (PS) through mixing .Thus filler material (bentonite) after washing by distill water and drying and toasting with different temperature degrees (100,200,300,400 °C)and surfactant process have been done on them by using poly vinyl alcohol(PVA) and dryig and had been choose partical size smaller than (75 μm) and Polystyrene was dissolved in benzen and then the ceramic fillers was added to polystyrene solution with the state ratios and temperature degrees (70-80 °C)have been used surfactant material to polymer surface and anti-oxidant material and binder material , and the study of effects because of these additions upon mechanical material for composite .
