تحلية المياه باستخدام أشعة ليزر ثاني أوكسيد الكربون CO2 Refinement of water by using CO2 laser

Abstract

In this research, an attempt was made to build an experimental unit for the refinement of sea, wells, rivers, and lake water by means of CO2 Laser power ranged between (0-30) watts with a wave-length equals to (10, 6) micro-meter. After applying the laser power on salt water put in a glass container, the researchers noticed a change of temperature which varied according to time and the degree of laser power. At first, there appeared special and sound effects without reaching the transformation level of water boiling when low power was given, but after applying (25-30) watts, the researchers noticed a sudden heat and boiling of water leading and causing a reaction force that ranged beyond the special and exanimation effects within 15 minutes. After that, the boiling water was gathered again by a special instrument. The researchers noticed that they saved power and time in comparison with other methods, in addition to the fact of keeping the environment clean and safe. By means of this renewed power, the researchers aim to reach a stage of building large water refinement units, which is a new method that saves time and power in addition to the fact that the produced water may be reused to generate the refinerement unit itself.
