Abstract

This research examines the structure of the stanza of the poem, in terms of the versatility of the poet in his distribution of meaning on the two parts of the stanza and then to record his virtue, if he successes for optimal distribution of these meanings.The text for this study is chosen with a a lot of studies of different type in order to determine the largest possible number of views and analyzes of their meanings. So I selected the poem (panat Sua'ad) to Ka'b bin Zuhair bin Abi Salma, known as (Burda) .This research is divided on two studies; depending on the levels of excellence in technical performance. This helps the poem to classify the poem into levels of technical performance on the one hand, and the ways to achieve these levels, on the other hand. Therefore, these two studies become as follows:• The first deals with what this study spotted of versatility in the distribution of meaning to the two halves of the stanza.• The other section deals with the study of what the poet may insert to the meaning something unnecessary, but his technical proficiency enabled him, sometimes to reach by his poetry to the technical maturity, and at other times didn't enable him to do so.
