Brainstorming and its Effectiveness in the Acquisition of the Students of the Familial Education Department for the Material of Environmental Art

Abstract

The research aims at identifying: 1. Brainstorming and its Effectiveness in the Acquisition of the Students of the Familial Education Department for the Material of Environmental Art 2. Measuring the effect of brainstorming through its application on a sample of students from the department of familial education and art professions. To achieve these aims, the following zero hypothesis has been derived: There is no variation with a statistical indication for the degrees' averages at the level (5%) in the degrees of the experimental group which studied according to the brainstorming method in the post-acquisition test. The society of the research is composed of students from the department of familial education and art professions / first class / morning studies / college of Basic Education / University of Al-Mustansiriya 2011-2012. The sample is composed of (63) male and female students distributed into two teaching halls. The students of Hall One who are (32) represent the experimental group and the students of Hall Two who are (31) represent the control group. After excluding the failing students because of their previous experience, the sample becomes (60) students.
