Al-Sabyan Effort in Al-Hadeeth Lessons

Abstract

The study deals with boys' interaction in the lesson of prophet tradition .The most important question in this activity is the boys' true perception. The study prefers the criterion of recognition by the boy and finds it the most acceptable one because it can be applied to all boys with no exception . In this case , it differs from those that depend on specifying certain age. May be, a five-year old child is better than an old man in this concern. The study reviews opinion of the scholars concerning accepting narratives of the children of the prophet's companions. It also shows the boys' interaction during the lessons. It is shown that the boys were very good in memorization, very intelligent and having high intuition . They also dealt with old men and tales as if they were adults. For example , they refused easiness of listening ; they criticized some old tales, falsified tales of some of the old , looked for the strongest support and asked for the best evidence . They contacted the old and listened to them as they moved with their families from one country to another either to do in-time or out-of- time pilgrimage to Mecca , for trade or to visit relatives. Finally , the boys had good traits of perceiving the tradition and they even caused jokes because of the errors they made and which made others laugh.
