Abstract

The search included (115), Professor of physical education, (1500) student in the fourth phase of secondary education for learners (2011-2012, 2012-2013) in Mostaganem in Algeria, adopted in this study two (content analysis "analysis of curriculum of physical education and sports, and descriptive survey method), and identified the problem not addressed in previous studies the role of curriculum of physical education and sports in the development of good citizenship and identified research objectives: 1-define the role of competence approach in the curriculum of physical education and sports. 2-learn the values of good citizenship contained in the platform for action of physical education and sports. 3-disclose the values of citizenship available to pupils in the lesson of physical education and sports based approach to efficiencies. After the statistical treatments and procedures for field researchers concluded the following: 1-the methods of physical education and sports new citizenship values low. 2-the share of physical education and sports in general citizenship values by more than average, especially moral values than (75%) from the point of view of professors. 3-There are differences between the responses of pupils in the fourth year on the development of physical education and sports share the values of citizenship for pupils who answered by medium.
