The Effect of Political Variables on the Turkish- Iranian Relations (1939-1918)

Abstract

The research studies the effect of the variations that took place all around the world in general and in the Middle East in particular which played a role in improving the Turkish- Iranian relations, The Research also studies the political circumstances that led to rebuilding turkey and Iran. Turkey was found after defeating the Othman Empire in WWI and the liberation war (1923-1919). While Iran passed a transitional phase between (1923-1919) during which Russia and Britain controlled the political decision. This phase ended when Redha Pahlawy became the king of Iran. The research studies the essential problems that obstructed developing the relations between the two countries especially the problem of borders and the Kurds. After the agreement of year 1937 the relations between the two countries developed and they had the convention of Sa'ad Abad in 1937 which developed to defense convention that included Iraq and Afghanistan.
