The Socialities of the Husseini Oration A study In the Light of Sociolinguistics

Abstract

AbstractSatisfaction and dissatisfaction could be considered as amean to measure the unity of fate, and it may be applied in Al-Taff society in particular, for this community has the standardsof such a measure. If people were satisfied with a particularaction - even in case that achievement was accomplishedby one of them – then they all would be considered as thedoers of such a deed. The same thing could be said aboutthe dissatisfaction about some action else. Hence, the she–camel in the account of Tamood’s nation gives a brilliantsample of this kind. This animal was slaughtered by only oneperson, but Tamood’s folk were all punished and sufferedfrom the heavenly torture because they showed satisfactiontowards that act, and Allah, the Almighty said in that case:''they, slaughtered it and they were rendered regretful".There is a universal Sunna tradition, that if an action is doneby a community member then this action will be attributed tohis society in general and to the next generations to which hebelongs, that if these generations will continue to advocatethese positive, negative or criminal mind.Taking into the account “Imam Ali’s proverb, ‘Oh , people,a nation can gather the satisfaction and the dissatisfaction atone time’ ” renders a good example of this duality. Similarly, thewords of his son, Imam Hussein ( p. b. u. h ) can be studied inaccordance with the standards of sociolinguistics to present280اجتماعيات الخطاب الح
