Abstract

The political arena witnessed in Iraq in the wake of the 2003 open and a clear trend towards multi-party system came after a long experience of central rule and the dominance of the one-party system of governance lasted 35 years. Developments have produced after the fall of the former regime, a political dynamic, opening the floodgates for the establishment of a variety of political movements and organizations, and multiple titles each other Islamist and secular, others carrying a national character. It has resulted in the absence of a law regulating the work party for many years to a state of chaos and fragmentation on the Iraqi political scene, which is reflected in the absence of stability for the political process in Iraq. It has been the adoption of the Political Parties Law No. (36) for the year 2015 in response to popular pressure, embodied by the demonstrations that came out in most cities in central and southern Iraq to demand reforms.
