Abstract

There was a serious need to the citizenshipas a psychological feeling in the Iraqisociety. Because it represent the one of themost important three standards in thedemocratic operation as methods we mustuse in our social live. When we get a chanceto build it in the Iraqi society. After thesocial and political changes that tack placeafter the 9 April 2003. The relationshipsbetween the citizenship and identity refer tothe process by which we could strength theindividual legal and political role to createthe effective participate in the social live andsocial structure of the Iraqi society. Becausethere was an equalize between the generalcollective identity and the citizenship. Weneed these feelings when Iraqi society joinsthe globalization system under the pressureof the USA. And that required being awarein the negative effectiveness of theglobalization and its positive ones. And thenecessary of the living to gather in the globalsociety. That makes the universal citizenshippossible. This state creates many questionsin the mind of the Arab and Moslemsresearchers. Such as could we keep oursocial and cultural identity? Are thecitizenship help us to maintain the socialand cultural identity? And other manyquestions that dealing with this objectives.
