American strategy for the management of international crises

Abstract

The United States always formulate strategy based on some of pillars through which it seeks to achieve its national interests. The Iraqi crisis is one of the cases that can be used to analysis the American style to manage of international crises in stage of the global transformations. In that stage; the United States used its own strategies, but it can’t achieve international consensus such as what achieved during the liberate Kuwait war. In this way, we study that article through three sections. The first section study preamble stage for the crises which started by Gorge W. Bush speech on January, 29, 2001, this stage lasted to the issuance of UN Security Council Resolution no. 1441 on November, 8, 2001. The second section study the stage escalation of the crisis which started by the issuance of UN Security Council Resolution no. 1441 on November, 8, 2001 and ended by Bush declaration end of military operations in the first of May 2003. The final and third section study after crisis stage and analysis Iraq situation after the fall of Saddam Hussein on April 9, 2003.
