Effect of weekly tests in the achievement of students of the Mathematics Department / College of Education for pure sciences in the curriculum and methods of teaching mathematics

Abstract

The method forms the nerve of learning and teaching, without which the subject can not be systematically transferred to students Therefore ,the purpose of the present research is to know the effect of the weekly tests on the students' achievement in curriculum and methods of teaching according to the gender variable. Therefore, the researcher used for this purpose a collection test prepared for this purpose and after statistical analysis Showed that there is superiority to the students of the experimental group who are subjected to weekly tests on students of the control group who are not subject to the weekly tests in the curriculum and methods of teaching and also there is no difference between the average males and females who were tested The researcher suggests conducting future studies that complement the research
