Abstract
The purpose of the research is to know the role of the components of strategic planning in the application of e-governance in Wasit University on the basis of objective principles. The importance of the study stems from the importance of the role played by the components of strategic planning to implement e-governance that achieve the highest levels of accuracy in controlling the performance of tasks and providing services. The study was designed to measure the role of the components of strategic planning in the application of electronic governance, the top and middle management of Wasit University, and they reached (219) people. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are:a. The study showed that the mathematical mean of paragraph (A) of the University's vision was 1.91, ie, it is partially available, and the gap between what is available and what is required to reach it is 54.37%, which is a big gap that needs suitable strategies to address.B. (B) of the University's message reached 1.88, ie, it is partially available, and the gap between what is available and what is required to reach it is 55.89%, which is a large gap that needs suitable strategies to address it.The research reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which are:Involve all faculties, centers, divisions, divisions, units and all those involved in the development of strategies and policy-making in a broader manner, re-formulate vision, mission and objectives, analyze the environment and formulate strategies of the university, its colleges, departme
