Distribution Of Propaganda Publication in psychological warfare Analytical Study Of Methods And Convincing Means (Al-Mousl’s Battles)

Abstract

This research aims to identify methods and convincing means which is used in Al-Mousl’s battles throughout posters that threw down by Armed air force weather on people or the terrorist on the ground. The publications regards to be one of the most conventional means that used by warring countries to frightened the enemy and weakened the morale of the soldiers as well as people. The publication usually cast by airplanes or balloons in a massive amounts. Its considers to be important for propaganda , if the researcher managed to have (115) text about posters that she already has its contains from the Ministry of Defence in order to devote the propagation efforts to achieve the required purpose and support the eagerness of Iraqi forces to liberate cities from ISIS. The importance of research lies in the fact that it is a research attempt to identify the means and methods that used in posters, it come out with many conclusions and most importantly:1-The research proved that the posters focused on the national, social, security and religious topics. 2-It turns out that posters took a spatial care with the language used in the text , for instant mixed between slang and classical Arabic.3-It took a spatial care with the language methods for example calling style, emphasis style, assurance style, the reminded style, warning and encourage style for citizens mean while a threat, menace and satire style for the enemy. 4-Focused on the qualities and actions extracted from the contents of publication for the armed forces, ISIS and citizens based on emotional solicitation , rational solicitation and intimidation.5-The publication demanded the citizens to leave their cities and go to the security forces. 6-The publications argued citizens to cooperate with the security forces and follow up on the Nineveh radio station to listen to the guidance and move towards safe exit point from the city.7-The posters included awareness recommendations on safety, prevention and emergency planes.
