structure form in Sharif Mohieddin Haider musical composition

Abstract

Sharif Mohieddin Haider worked on the composition of musical instruments of Oud, which differs from the traditional forms known as (Bachraf, Samaa'i, Lunga, etc.), but it is not clear in building its form. This study Treating this issue By revealing the structural structure of the musical form of these Musical compositions.The importance of this research is that it provides an academic scientific study on the important subject of Musical compositions forms and the way of construction, It helps players and students In the study of Arabic music, if they want to write according to their musical form.This research dealt with two topics in its theoretical framework (The oud instrument in Iraq and the role of Sharif Mohieddin Haider in her musical renaissance), And (form in music). The research also studied samples randomly selected, Represented Some of the Sharif Muhiuddin Haider’s compositions, Through its analysis of a standard designed to achieve the objective of the study, To arrive a set of Results and conclusions, Of which, The most of the Muhieddin Haider’s compositions for oud, Do not go beyond the simple Western forms known as Ternary Form, The results also showed the Sharif Muhiuddin Haider has keeping away from the eastern Maqam in his Musical composition, He focused on diatonic Scale such as Nehund and Ajam
