Effect of strength exercises using rubber bands in the development of some physical abilities and the completion of discus for youth

Abstract

The importance of the study by using of different types of resistance and the benefit of this method is that the resistance continues to increase during the range of movements during the positive of the movement, so the exercise of squatting, for example, the higher height during the bar climber, the resistance increased provided by the tape and that means the athlete have to exert greater force with his direction to the top of the height and also works to increase the speed during the negative part of the movement, which means that the athlete have to exert greater strength does not stop weight during the end of the movement, and the purpose of this study to prepare exercises for the force using rubber ligaments and identify on the impact of these exercises in developing the physical abilities of the young discus throwing players , the researchers used the experimental method, the sample of the research was selected from the players of the Diyala young Club for the effectiveness of discus throwing. The tests used in the research included the test of the explosive and rapid force, Duration of the training curriculum took (8) weeks with three training units (weekly). The intensity of the training was determined. After determining the intensity to be trained, for example, 85% for physical exercise (Squatting) of the maximum weight can be raised by the player and using rubber bands that affect 20% of the training weight Ligament (When resistance by rubber bands installed on the tape) so if the weight of 85% is equivalent to 135 kg. The free weights are 108 kg and the rubber band resistance are 27 kg so the weight is 135 kg which the required weight for the training is less than the number of elastic ligaments. The researchers found that there is a significant improvement in explosive and rapid force levels due to training on this technique of training has also been developed and improved the explosive force of the trunk and arms
