Abstract

During the last decade of the 20th century, the world witnessed huge changes and developments in technology, information systems and communications. This fast technical development has become the basic characteristic of this information age. After the industrial revolution which interested in producing materials, the age of technology and information comes to focus on producing thoughts instead of materials. Therefore, the countries which have information become the more dominating ones in aspects of life. As one aspect of these is theatre which enormously affected by the information development, in spite of the fact that technology in theatre was not far but it accompanied theatre since the Greek age till this very day. This development has its impact on theatre Scenography which appeared in the aspect of thinking and analyzing and thus, a brand new language of new artistic currents comes to use technology as a technical tool for creative procedures in theatre so as to discover its abilities, aesthetics and intellectual aspects. On this base, the researcher identifies the problem in the first chapter of his study under the title: "Functioning the virtual technique in the scynography show" The problem is identified by the following question: how does the modern technology be used and placed in theatre?The researcher has also showed the significance of the study for it sheds light on the technological and technical development and how it is reflected on theatre scenography in general and on theatre scenery in particular. The study also sheds light on the characteristics and factors of theatre scenery and its aesthetic elements through using the modern digital technology and knowing the enormous benefits of how to make use of this technology as a designing privacy. Then, the researcher clarifies the aim and limits of the study and finally defining the most significant terms: the Technique and the Virtual Reality. The second chapter has been divided by the researcher to two sections. The first section shows the concept of the Virtual Reality as being a basic aspect of this age. He also shows the chronicle development of the idea of the virtual reality. The second section shows the technique of the virtual reality in the theatre show, limiting it to internet and computer. He explains that the use of both internet and computer is one of the most important aims in achieving high levels in thoughts, and methods in designing the show as well as in performance.The third chapter includes the procedures of the study through choosing one theatre show to place and make use of some of the modern techniques in that show and then, to analyze the sample.Finally, the fourth chapter includes the results and conclusions of the study, the suggestions, recommendations, list of resources, appendixes and finally an abstract in English.
