Abstract

‎ The middle class represents the basic social pillar for ‎achieving democratic transformation, especially in the Arab ‎societies, which are today at an important historical stage in ‎terms of democratic building, justice and freedom. And that ‎many of these societies are witnessing calls for a democratic ‎transition as a solution to overcome the problems they suffer ‎from, but they do not realize that there are basic obligations ‎should be available before talking about democracy, and these ‎requirements the existence of a middle class and effective and ‎aware, because they can be governed and be in charge of time ‎Itself because of its economic and social characteristics, and ‎because its existence reduces the large gap between the rich and ‎the poor, Which leads to the balance and harmony of the ‎community and then political stability, but the middle class in ‎these communities suffer a lot of weakness and division and ‎ineffectiveness to exercise their political role as a result of ‎political and economic conditions, which makes the need to ‎work to provide an environment suitable for the development ‎and creation of such a class So that the path to democracy is a ‎sound one.‎
