Female Migration to Bahrain from 1981 to 2010

Abstract

Geographical observers have paid attention to population studies and the study of the interaction of human beings with their environment that resulted in the increase or decrease of population under the influence of special population movement or what is called 'migration' that affects the rise, size, and distribution of the population. The migration to Bahrain is one of the factors that affect the demography which resulted in various aspects of development. The study also aims at recognizing migration to Bahrain from 1981 up to 2010. It also tries to show the size and the distribution of this migration depending on data sources that represent population census for these years. The research also exposes that there is a variation in the size of women migration and that Bahrain has accepted different nationalities of female migration which has affected the structure of the population in Bahrain.
