The effectiveness of a training program to develop emotional intelligence and its impact on increasing some language communication skills in children with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the impact of emotional intelligence program in the development of some linguistic communication in children of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and some guidance and assistance in the development of linguistic communication, the study depended on the experimental approach through the sample of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The association of the families of autism charity in historical buildings in Riyadh, which consisted of 8 children It consisted of two groups: a experimental group of 4 children (Two males, two females) and a control group of 4 children (two males, two females), aged between 8- 12 age and have deficiencies in linguistic communication. The findings confirmed that the measures of the program based on emotional intelligence that focuses on visual stimuli to children with autism have had a positive impact on the skill of the linguistic communication to children with autism as the merger between professional behavior modification gives better results in overcoming the problems and difficulties of children of autism.
