Fires in Iraq During the Fifth and Sixth C.H. A parallel Study Between the Books of Ibn- Al-Jauzi,s Al- Muntadhm and Ibn Al-Atheer,s AlKamal

Abstract

Fires were the most dangerous non-natural disasters faced the human Societies during the fifth and sixth C.H. because of their negative and large effect . They damaged houses , shops , and markets and spoiled their contents . In addition , they killed some people and left their effect on the social , economical , political , and religious sides . Also fires caused disorders and helped to spread the phenomenon of stealing and looting among the public . Generally , Iraq and more specifically Baghdad was one of the many countries that witnessed fires during this period and this will be detailed in this research .
