Economic Problems and its Impact on Applying Agricultural Reform Law and Farmers Association Law

Abstract

In the rural areas, the farmers suffer from many economic and social problems in addition to the controlling of tax farmers. So, the agricultural reform law number (30) in (1958) to lift injustice from farmers and to improve their level of living. But this law did not achieve its aim for the farmers and it fails to be applied because it suffers from many modifications and problems that make it lose its importance. In addition, this law distributed some agricultural lands to the farmers to raise their economic level and treating the problem of lacking the agricultural productions in villages and rural areas though there are many obstacles that face this aim. An argument assumed to be done between the members of the agricultural association in rural areas because this law did not improve farmers’ level socially and economically. This made an argument between the delegation of farmers and the communists which led to the cancellation of all farmers’ associations in villages and rural areas.
