Measuring The cognitive procedure of Affording- Non Affording Ambiguity Strategy among Preparatory School Studentn

Abstract

The importance of this research stems from dealing with an important topic that is ( The cognitive procedure of Affording/ Non-Affording Ambiguity Strategy) which is related to a vast majority of people, namely- secondary school students. The present research tries to know:1-The level of affording ambiguity to secondary school students.2-The level of affording ambiguity in accordance to the variety (males- females).3-The level of affording ambiguity in accordance to speciality (scientific- literary).4-The level of affording ambiguity in accordance to the stage.ايعدد ايجايح ٚايطبعٛ تز ١ً دٜالى / 20172616To achieve the research purpose, the researcher adopted Fares criteria (2009) of affording/ non-affording ambiguity which is consisted of 50 items of four substitutions applied on 600 students. Stability coefficient scored (0.09) by the half-seperation approach and (0.84) when repeating the test . The statistical means were used to find out the reliability and stability criteria and the data were analyzed statistically by using the SPSS.This research reached to the following conclusions:1-Students have the ability to afford ambiguity.2-There is no statistical difference between males and females to afford ambiguity.3-There is no statistical difference between the scientific and literary. field to afford ambiguity
