Feminine In Architecture

Abstract

Cognitive theses generally focused on the study of influential cognitive concepts and their reflection in the field of architecture. These concepts differed in the degree of their influence on the architectural designer and in what can be played as a public role and a detailed effect in a manner that serves to enrich the architectural field at the symbolic, functional, and structural and the shape levels. The research attempts to focus on one of these concepts, which is the concept of (femininity), as one of the influences of the current era, because of its association with one of the components of society, represented by the female and its role in changing the consideration of forms and relationships. Determining the general cognitive reality, and the specific theoretical and intellectual indicators and features. The purpose of this research is to define the general basis of the concept of (femininity), and then to introduce the relationship of knowledge with other concepts detailed in the field of architecture within the framework of the case of (influential and affected). This represents the research problem of which came in the form of (the lack of clarity of the nature of the perception about the impact and role of the feminine concept in architecture in general, and on specific concepts in particular). And then the formation and presentation of a theoretical framework that includes specific vocabulary and indicators to be applied to specialized architectural products representing two trends (traditional and contemporary). This is followed by an analysis of the results of that application and the exploration and clarification of the verification cases for the special indicators. Finally, the final conclusions and recommendations that proved that the house is the closest spatial organization of the female, because it has an impact on the principles of isolation and openness and orientation in the traditional home and contemporary, which is the most achieved.
