Intertextuality and Production of the Indication: Shihab Ghanem' Poems as a Model

Abstract

This study deals with examples of religious, literary and historical Intertextuality in Shihab Ghanem' Poems, this poet is one of the most prominent Emirati poets in the twentieth century. The importance of this subject is an analytical critical reading of one of his most famous works, "One Hundred Poems and a Poem", it has included many types of Intertextuality, and its impact was evident in the technical composition of his poetry. This study is based on an analytical descriptive approach, which starts from the text itself to reveal the structure of text, and then tries to reveal its Indications and Literary functions.
