Abstract

The present research aim at investigating the effect of raf RAFTS strategy for fifth grade literary branch pupils and their attitudes towards it .the researcher put the flowing hypotheses:1-Ther is no statistical difference in the level 0/o5 between the average marks the experimental group (who studies rotaries according to Raft’s strategy) and the mares of the control groups(who studies rhetoric’s according to the traditional methods of teaching).2-There is no statistical difference in the average marks of both experimental and control groups in the scale of their attitudes towards rhetoric’.The researcher adopted a partiality controlled experimental from consisting of two groups (an experimental and a control groups)with achievement and attitudes posttest .the sample of the study consisted of 64 fifth literary grade pupils in the academic year 2017-2018 the researcher also equalized between both groups in terms of age ,previous year grades, linguistic test scores and parental achievement variables. Then ,the researcher identified the materials. Then ,the researcher identified the material to be tough ,prepared the behavitioural gools and made a teaching plan .the experiment started on Monday 14th of October 2017 and ended on Thursday 16th of January 2018.The researcher made an achievement test that consists of 30 items in rhetoric’s depending on multiples choice questions strategy ,then the researcher employed the T-teast of tow samples ,Pearson coefficient factor and spearman formula ,to check the two mentioned hypotheses. The results revealed that :1-puplis of the experimental groups got better marks as they were taught rhetoric’s based on RAFTS the strategy ,in comparison with pupils of the control groups who studied rhetoric’s based on the conventional methods of teaching.2-with reference to the attitude scales ,pupils of the experimental groups also got better scores then those of the control groups. Based on these findings ,the researcher put forward some recommendation ,including taking an advantage from RAFTS strategy in teaching rhetoric’s in the secondary stage ,due to its effect in getting better of learning .kindly ,the researcher making a contrastive study that compares the effects of RAFTS strategy with other strategies.
