Abstract
This research deals with the thermal range and its relationship with the continental and marine degrees in Iraq, namely in the stations (Mosul, Kirkuk, Baghdad, Al-Rutba, Hai, Diwaniya, Nasiriyah, and Basrah) and for the period (1992-2013). The objectives of the research were to detect the thermal range in Iraq and the extent of variation between the study stations as well as to know the degree of continental in Iraq and the extent of variation between the study stations as well as to know the degree of marine in Iraq and the extent of variation between the study stations have been addressed after the presentation of thermal and humidity characteristics as well as wind trends As a result of the direct and direct correlation with the thermal range, the research concludes with a set of conclusions related to the thermal range which reached (27.6, 27.1, 25.7, 24.1, 26.1, 24.6, 25.8, 25.9) in the stations (Mosul, Kirkuk, Baghdad, Al-Rutba, Hai, Diwaniya, Nasiriyah, Basrah) Respectively and the continental degree (according to the Khromov equation) which was (88.4, 88.5, 88.5, 87.8, 89, 88.5, 89.3, 89.5) for the above stations and the continental degree (according to the Borisov equation) of (76, 77.2, 77.6, 73.1, 81.4, 77.9, 83.5, 85.3) respectively, as well as the marine score of (12.5, 15.4, 6.2, 9.5, 9.3, 6.5, 9.3, 8.5) for the same stations respectively.
