Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of the academic staff in mathematics department, faculty of Basic Education about motivating their students towards Completion in the College of Basic Education from their point of view. The sample consisted of (100) students, (63) students from the third stage and (37) students from the second stage was chosen randomly for the academic year (2018-2019) to achieve the goal . The research requires a questionnaire to measure the role of the academic staff in mathematics department about motivating their students towards Completion. Therefore, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (25) paragraphs, characterized by honesty and perseverance, The field of educational and psychological sciences is applied to the research sample, and after the data collection and analysis, statistically using Pearson correlation coefficient and titer test (t-test) for two independent samples.
