Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed at investigating the social intelligence of the university of Mosul students levels and its relationship with some personal features. The sample of the research consisted of (312) male and female students, two scales have been used: the first scale is the social intelligence and the second is Cattel translated features scale. The validity and reliability and fix of the two research tools were investigated. Pirson's coefficient and the Point Biserial Correlation and the T-test were used as statistical tools. The results showed that the university students are enjoying with medium level in the social intelligence as well as there was s negative relationship between the social intelligence and the dominance feature besides that there was a positive relationship between the social intelligence and serious and self confident, in addition there was not no relationship between the social intelligence and (nervous imbalance and volumes). Also the results showed that there was a statistical relationship between the social intelligence of the students and sex variable for the favor of females. One of the most recommendations is the necessity of supporting and developing the social intelligence of the students and especially for the favor of males, by giving them a team duties or participating in the scientific picnics and establishing the forums and also by good reputation in the social stances.
