Language information retrieval: a comparative study of operations research in databases Bibliographic

Abstract

The research aims to study operations research in the Department of automated search in the Central Library at the University of Baghdad to find out the importance and role of language used in the recovery and measurement of their impact on the results of operations research. Through direct observation and analysis of research data and compare the results to get to know the difference between the results of search by using the language with the free search results by using the restricted language and research foundTo a number of findings and conclusions was the most important:1. Automated search using the language restricting research to achieve more accurate results with low rates of recovery compared with the free-language search.2. Preferred by most users search using the language free of the weakness of their experience and not to use restrictive language on the one hand, and their desire freedom from the participation of the mediator during the implementation of the research process.
