Abstract
A copper oxide thin film were prepared by chemical spray paralysis technique. From the absorption and transmittance properties the absorption coefficient, forbidden energy gap for the direct allowed and forbidden transitions respectively, have been studied. The real and imaginary part of the dielectric constant as a function of photon energy have been calculated.
