ASSAY TO EVALUATE THE BILE ACTIVITY AS ANTIFUNGAL AGENT

Abstract

Derived substance from animal gall bladders as well as industrial bile was prepared as a new treatment against some human and animal fungal diseases; especially infected nails (paronchyia). Different concentration such as 5, 10, 15, 20 and finally 40 mcg/ml of these substances were used. Effectiveness result were obtained in comparison with other antifungal agents like Imidazole, Griseofulvin, Flucytosine, Amphotrticin B, and Nystatin, and this was recorded for first time.
