The profile net of motivation characteristics for certain team, individual and fighting games

Abstract

The study aimed at the following:-Realizing the motivation characteristics of the players of team, individual and fighting games.-Planning the profile net of the players of team, individual and fighting games regarding the dimensions of the motivation characteristics scale.The research has been carried out on a sample consisted of (161) players from clubs of Alfutuwa, Dhouk,Arbil, Alpeeshmargha, Alsulaimanya, Almustaqbal, Bashkoten and Alarmen that represented in (football , track & field and Taikwandu ) . Data were collected by applying the scale of sport motivation characteristics evaluation prepared by (Tutku & Richard) and translated by Mohammed Hasan Allawi.The researcher has concluded the following:-The research’s subjects have, in general, got joint and acceptable levels of achievement motivation characteristics (training status, living conscious, confidence in others, stimulus, emotional control and stiffness).-The research’s subjects have got high and joint levels of achievement motivation characteristics (responsibility and self-confidence).-Taikwandu players are characterized by aggression feature compared to Football and Track & Field players.-Football players are characterized by leadership feature compared to Taikwandu and Track & Field players.-Track & Field players are characterized by determination feature compared to Football and Taikwandu players.The researcher has recommended the following:-Applying the profile net of motivation characteristics of the research’s subjects in the evaluation.-Marking out the motivation characteristics that have obtained high grades in the light of the practiced activity and trying to develop them constantly.-Marking out the motivation characteristics that have obtained low grades in the light of the practiced activity and trying to identify the main reasons behind it.-Performing periodical tests to evaluate the sport motivation characteristics of the research’s subjects.-Involve trainers in courses that include the psychological aspect of players when preparing training programs.
