Synthesis Of Phenol Formaldehyde Resins Derivatives

Abstract

In this work different types of phenolic resins were synthesizedfrom many substituted phenols such as P-N,Ndiethylamino phenol andm-N,Ndiethyl amino phenol and 1,8-DihydroxyNaphthaline withformaldehyde, the linier polymers (P1-P3)and crosslinked polymers(Ps,Pa) were obtained, and characterized by IR spectroscopy andthermogravimetry was measured .we found that the higher thermal resistance and highermechanical properties be possibly used insulation materials and forothers industrial applications.
