EFFECTS OF SUBLATHAL CONCENTRATIONS OF ZINC ON SOME OF BLOOD PARAMETERS IN CYPRINUS CARPIO

Abstract

Common carp fish Cyprinus carpio was exposed to sublethal concentrations of zinc ( 0.028 , 0.056 and 0.28 ) mg l during ( 1 , 15 and 30 ) days . Some of blood parameters were explored . The results showed a decrease of red and white blood cells , packed cells volume and hemoglobin levels , as well as , vacillate in sodium , potassium and calcium ions concentrations in blood serum in comparison with control fish .
