Effect of Both peer tutoring style and the triple reciprocal style in acquisition of Technique for some tennis basic skills

Abstract

The research aims at revealing the following : The effect of Both peer tutoring style and the triple reciprocal style in acquisition of Technique for some tennis basic skills for both experimental research samples. The researcher has adopted the experimental methodology for its convenience with the nature of the research. So, the experiment was performed on a sample of students of 3rd-year/ college of sport education/ Mosul university for the term 2009-2010 A.D. as research community. The research group has been selected randomly. The sample has consisted of(26) students. They represent both group(H) and(o) respectively. They have been divided into two empirical groups representing(14) students for the first experimental group that has learned on( peer tutoring style), and(12) students for the second empirical group that has learned on (triple reciprocal style). The researchers have concluded the following results:1.Both tutoring styles(peer and triple reciprocal) have achieved a learning in obtaining the technique of some basic skills in tennis (forehand, backhand, and serve).2.The first experimental group that has used peer tutoring style has achieved better level in acquisition of the technique of some basic skills in tennis basic skills compared with triple reciprocal style. *Keywords: peer tutoring- triple reciprocal- Technique - tennis
