Measurement and Analysis of the Impact of Some Economic Factors In International Flows of Capital Empirical Study Of Some East Asian Countries For The Period 1991 To 2007

Abstract

The research aims at studying the effect of population growth and GDP in international capital flows, both in Malaysia and Indonesia during the period (1991-2007). The ready Statistical Software (Minitab) has been used to estimate some indicators adopted to analyze and evaluate the nature of relations between the variables mentioned and to test hypotheses, research has come to a set of conclusions concerning the two sides, the theoretical and practical, the most important make sure the research hypotheses, especially which related to the impact of GDP in the movement of international flows in the countries those are the sample of the research. Finally, a set of recommendations were found, most notably that developing countries recognize the fact that the importance of international flows of foreign capital to achieve high rates of economic growth and improving living standards is not an easy tasks for the governments of concerned countries in economic transition, and the achievement of those tasks without ensure the stability of foreign capital in its various forms is the greatest challenge.
