دراسة بعض الصفات الفيزياوية والكيماوية وكمية ونوعية الهائمات النباتية في مياه قناة مشروع المسيب الكبير/العراق

Abstract

This study aims to achieve a ecological survey for water of a Great Museyaib Project Canal; it branches from the left side of Euphrates river about (9.6 Km) of Al-Hindiya Dam , from period January 2009 to April from the same year. The study includes to measure some of chemical, physical and nutrient salts features in addition to study the quantity and quality of mentioned canal's phytoplankton. The results have shown monthly changes for some studied features and there are slight differences among the stations within the one month. The canal's water was moderate ventilation and slight alkaline. While the nutrients have recorded decrease values (2.1–18) mgliter for nitrate, (0.33–0.8) mg liter for nitrite and (0.1 – 0.55) mg liter for phosphate. As well as it has diagnosed (80) classification units all of them belong to daytomat class at (49) units, then Chlorophyceae at (19) classification units, Cyanophyceae at (8) units, three classification units for Chrysophyceae, one unit for Euglenophyceae. While classification units have highest number of types during the study's period including (Nitzschia ssp. Cymbella ssp Synedra ssp), some of classification units have existed during the whole study's time for two sites : first and second (clamedomonus sp , coccneis pediculus) , (cyclatella sp, meringosphera spinosa, meneghiniana, bacillaria paxillifer, Navicula cryptocephala). The study recorded more total number for phytoplankton.on April; the second station recorded (2063 cell . cm3 ) while the first site recorded (540 cell . cm3 ) less number on January
