Abstract

this study aimed to investigate the effectof using aluminum chloride with different concentration of it on some organs of central nervous system (cerebrum and cerebellum)and the histological changes which take place on both of them then will treated with oil of Nigella Sativa to ameliorating of the advers effect of aluminum,this study included thirty –two male albino male rats(Rattus rattus) were divided into 8 group (4 animals in each group ).Two group considered as control the first one take distal water as positive control while the second take oil black seed as negtive control treated groups divided to three subgroup treated orally aluminum chloride in(80,160 ,240mg/kg ) respectivlly and other 3group remained treated with same concentration then take oil orally and dialy for 90 day.results showed that theres no significant diffrent in the wight of each cerebellum and creberum in each groups compared with postive control group for both treated with aluminum and treated with aluminum and oil in (p≤0.05). The hystological changes were neural vaculation and proliferation of glial cells, absent of large pyramidal cells in cerebrum,shrinkage of neural cells in moleculer layer and absent of pyrkinje cells and reduced of granular layer in cerebellum more severly in 240mg/kg when combared with control (distal water ).while the group which treated with oil of Nigella sativa the results showed less adverse effects of aluminum on histological changes so in this study we show adverse effects of aluminum on central nervous system and it could be less by oil of black seed.
