Architectural Aspects In The Andalusian City Of Marda From Its Conquest Until Its Fall (٩٤-٦٢٨ A.H/٧١٣ – ١٢٣٠ A.D)

Abstract

This research tackles the urban aspects of an Andalusiancity, which is known for its geographical location and thestrength of its defensive reinforcements. This city is Mardawhich was the capital of the west Andalusian, and itsrepresented a living evidence of the Arabi-Islamic civilization.S o, it acquired a prestigious status in architecture and theelegance of construction which reached a high degree ofprosperity and development although the roots of the city dateback in deep history old ages. Yet, it is considered as anarchitectural product for the buildings constructed in it, and thearchitectural arts were diversified and prospered and thatindicate its cultural value and the interest of its inhabitants inthis respect.
