The Relation Between physiological and anthropometric indicators With VO2MAX in Volleyball Players

Abstract

The researcher conducted some tests and measurements to identify the relationship between physiological indicators (aerobic threshold time and energy expended) and anthropometric indicators (Body Max Index, chest circumference) with VO2MAX using (FET Met Pro) due to their great importance in laying scientific bases for coaches. The subjects were elite volleyball clubs in Baghdad. The researcher hypothesized a statistical correlation relationship between VO2MAX and some physiological and anthropometric indicators in volleyball players. The researcher concluded that there is a correlation between Vo2Max and the produced energy as well as Vo2Max has a direct relation with the time of anaerobic threshold. Finally the researcher recommended using these indicators to standardize training loads through identifying the true physiological, physical and anthropometric levels of players. At the end , the researcher recommended using modern technology that give the best results to come up with an accurate training plan like ( FET Met Pro ).
