STUDY THE SEASONL PRESENES OF MEDITERRANEAN FLY Ceratitis capitata (WIED) AND ASSESSCERTAIN TYPEAS OF TRAPS AND HEIGHT IN THE POMEGRANATUM ORCHARDS.

Abstract

Study was conducted in three orchards pomegranate different area، in thedistrict of Muqdadiya Diyala province between 2010-2011 aimed to identify thebest height for laid traps on trees، pomegranates، with assessed three types oftraps containing attractant sexual for use in monitoring and hunting males، thestudy of existence seasonal fly Mediterranean Ceratitis capitata، it became clearthat the pest six generations per year، and the highest intensity recorded was inthe middle of the month of September amounted to (45) Male / trap / week، andthe best high to put traps on trees pomegranate was at an altitude of 180 cmfrom the surface of the earth، who scored number rate (23.3) Male / trap / week،and the statistical analysis to the absence of significant differences between thethree types of traps (trap Jackson، trap Tphri، local trap) to attract males.
