Creative thinking and its relationship to learning motivation for the students of some faculties in Babylon University

Abstract

The research composes of an introduction, which contained the importance of the research, which included the theoretical importance and the resulting contribution of the research, cognitively and theoretically, about the concept of creative thinking and its relationship to the learning motivation of the students of some faculties in Babylon University. Regarding the implementation importance, it would be clarified through preparing a measure for creative thinking and a measure for learning motivation on the research sample. For the research problem, it was about identifying the extent of a sample had a creative thinking and its relationship to the learning motivation for the students. The research aimed to identify the level of creative thinking and the learning motivation of the students and the relationship between the variables for the students of some faculties in Babylon University. After that, the research hypothesis was assigned, which was there was a relationship between creative thinking and learning motivation for the research sample. The research fields were identified as well.Later on, the theoretical studies related to the research were mentioned. The researcher used the descriptive method in comparing the community of the research and its sample through which setting the two measures were made, which was followed by identifying the extent the sample had a creative thinking and learning motivation. Finally, the researcher concluded that there was a relationship between creative thinking and learning motivation for the students. She recommended for the necessity of taking care of providing the creative situations for the students through amusing art and physical activities, which improve their psychological status.
