The Histological changes in female Albino rats That exposed to permethrin during organization stage

Abstract

The present studay was conducted at Veterinary Medicine college / University of Karbala to investigate the Histological changes of exposure to Permethrin during gestaion stages of life in female rats . In the experiment 40 rats, 28 female and 12 male rats were used, then pregnant female albino rats were separated from the stud and divided into four main groups ( 7 for each group) . the first group served as control, in which the rats orally gaveged with distal water 0.5 ml/kg/BW of 0.001 ethanol Daily for period differently lasted according to the experiment protocol, the rest three treated groups, in which the rats orallyadministered 0.02, 25, 75 mg/kg/day) respectively daily for 15 day extended for gestational day 7 of gestation till the day 21 and their offspring were reared and hold without more dosing untile day 60 of age then after the offspring were also hold to day 60 of age. Results showed changes including cell degeneration, necrosis and congestion observed in liver, kidney and spleen, Also loss ova ,bleeding, cyst like strucuter and sloughing observed in ovary. In conclusion , the present study suggest that the permethrin exposure during organization stages of life casues histopathological lesion in the organs of females and we recommended avoiding exposure human to Permethrin especially females and infant.
