The Effect of the Strategy of Analyzing the Denotative Features in the Linguistic Ability for the Students of the Fourth Preparatory Literary Class in the Lesson of Reading

Abstract

The research aims at identifying (The Effect of the Strategy of Analyzing the Denotative Features in the Linguistic Ability for the Students of the Fourth Preparatory Literary Class in the Lesson of Reading). To achieve the aim, the researcher has chosen randomly Ali Jawad Al-Tahir High School for Boys and section A to represent the experimental group that study reading according to the strategy of analyzing the denotative features and section B to represent the control group that study reading according to the ordinary method. The sample is (42) students; (20) from A and (22) from B. The researcher has done a statistical equivalent between the two groups in the following variables (age up to months, the parents' educational acquisition, the degrees of Arabic in the year 2013-2014, and the degrees of the pre- linguistic ability test
