Abstract

Research Summary The research focused on one of the important issues in the management of marketing activity in general and sales activity in particular, but a sales analysis and its role in managing marketing activity , and its role in determining the market share of the facility and the knowledge of its competitive position in the market , and taking marketing decisions relating to marketing mix , to strengthen their ability competitive and maintain its share of marketing minimum , if not increased. To complete this research on identifying trends in young people (male and female ) towards the purchase of a commodity hair shampoo and determine the market share of each mark, and predict what will be in the future . The researcher conducted an interview with fifty of them , in order to identify the types of hair shampoo use it , as a result of the interview showed that they are using multiple types of shampoo. But it turns out that there are four signs are the most commonly used , namely, (Head&sholder , Pantene , Dove ,Claire ) . . The researcher found a number of results , including: - The different methods of analyzing sales each associated with one or more of the functions of marketing and sales managers , and help to discover the strengths and weaknesses , enabling them to take appropriate decisions . - The market share of the four brands have not yet reached a steady state , where the signs Head&sholder and Pantene The gains were making signs Dov and Claire were making losses of their shares in the market .
