Using Some Spatial Factors in Measuring Services Efficiency For Urban Centers in Saladin Governorate in 2013

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the relation between services efficiency and the size of the urban centers throw the spatial developments, and to what extend the size of these center suit with the population and the services presented inside these centers, according to the Zeaf roll ( Rank – Size). Then identify the hierarchical of these centers throw using Scologeam way to identify center's hierarchical, and Dependence some elements of urban services to determine these levels. And using some elements of the spatial development to evaluate the relation between size and population and services. The research show that there are (7) hierarchical levels for the urban centers in Saladin governorate. There also a big gap between the real population size and the urban centers ideal size. Seven centers out of (17) centers achieve real size more than the ideal size. The research also show that there are no correlation between some of the urban centers and the population and services, especially in the first five levels. In the first level (in Samarra city) Incompatibility is 100%, In the second level is 60%, in the third and fourth is 20%, and in the fifth is 40%. The sixth and seventh levels spatial compatibility is 100% between the size of the urban center and population and services.
